I love doing Princess cakes, because they are so whimsical.
This is a smaller version of a Princess castle for a 4 year old girl.
I picked Peach color other than the usual Pink.
To create the illusion of a 2-Tier cake, the top of the castle is just fondant+gumpaste rolled on cardboard paper.
The bottom layer is a 2-layer cake (Chocolate & Vanilla) with chocolate filling with butter cream icing.
The flowers are gumpaste flowers and the vines are green butter cream icing.
The door is hand-cut gumpaste.
Edible silver balls were used to dress-up this Princess castle.
