This was made specially for my two cuties who turned 4 & 6 yrs.
They are so crazy about Toy Story & loved the latest movie too.
All of my previous cakes have been iced with buttercream icing and this time I decided to do something different.
Since I don't like the taste of the store-bought fondant, I decided to make my own.
I made Marshmallow fondant and used that to cover the cake.
It gives a beautiful clean effect to the cake, and not to forget that the fondant tasted delicious.
The bottom was a marble cake with lemon filling.
The 2nd tier was a heavenly chocolate cake with chocolate filling.
The top is a basic yellow cake.
The stars were made of gumpaste and Toy Story figurines were used to complete the look of the cake.
The cake turned out great and my kids loved their special cake.
